i have windows xp, tried to undo a software problem with reinstalling xp, and i all i get is the unbootable mount volume, i tried to go and start it in safe mode to undo the mess, and i still cant seem to get pass the unbootable mount volume, and since am not a computer expert, i sure could use some advise on the steps to gxp software downloadet xp uninstalled so i can install it with a clean install.
I have found that the program Kill Disk has helped with this type of problem. It overwrites the hard drive. YOu can make some boot floppies for your computer. The site has instructions on how to do it:
You can use UltraISO Named Software 4 Make XP Bootable !
u canxp software download get it at PHAZEDDL.com or ddl2.com
U can use BOOTMAKER !
ok, put the XP cd in, boot with the cd, let it load all the drivers. next choose the option to go to Recovery Console.
once at the prompt, enter fdisk /fixmbr , this command will fix your Master Boot Record, which is most likely you're getting that BSOD error.
